Wonder if the frogs are finally noticing how hot that water's getting.

This time, I'm not so inclined to be sympathetic to anyone considering entering Canada to dodge the draft. Americans need to face their oppressors, or the whole world keeps suffering.

Seriously? This is pure evil. 99% chance their models have ingested the code they plan to replace. remember LLMs don't create, they regurgitate an amalgam of what they have ingested.

This slop should not be allowed to be copyrighted or sold.

Edit: This is satire AFAIK but there's probably some cadre of techbros that are going to actually do this. and get rich off of it. SMH.

Qualcomm has historically been one of the most closed chip vendors. Unless they publish full specs, datasheets and open drivers, that'll be a hard 'no' for me.

Sigh. I'm too tired of everything else they've done to be at all surprised.

No, no -- I think the author's project supports the gemini hypertext protocol, not google's "AI" monstrosity.

Once again, a rich megacorp chose a name ignoring the fact it was already taken.

If your business cannot be profitable paying a living wage to your employees without tips or govt assistance,, then perhaps the business model itself is unsustainable.

It should be pointed out this was from Feb 2023, so not 'news'... however still worth highlighting how dangerous Russian windows appear to be, especially to those who are not performing in the "special operation" to Putin's liking.

I wish more people knew about IPFS -- a content-addressable, persistent filesystem. It's a peer-to-peer system that can offer durable backups to important info. Of course I'm a hypocrite as I realize I haven't been running my IPFS node lately due to upgrades... off I go to fix that.
