Your link doesn't go anywhere for me. Is it on my end or is the link bad?

That's fair. Probably not helpful at the moment but i got a sit or stand desk awhile back and it's terrific. Sometimes I don't use it enough but recently I saw a video that anything you enjoy sitting you can usually enjoy standing. Like my controller is wireless I can stand instead of sit ony couch. I can eat dinner aty kitchen counter instead of sitting every night. I can have a drink with friends while standing, etc. Even without a standing desk that's probably true for you as well. If you put on movie or a game stand to watch some of it. It feels weird at first but I stand probably 2/3 of my day now. Try it out!

It may actually be better to set your AC to a highish temp like 81-82 so that it keeps it at that level without running non stop. If the house is 89-90 it takes a very long time and uses a great deal of energy to cool the air down. Maintaining a tolerable temperature can actually help conserve energy in many cases. Obviously you do you and all systems are different but could be worth trying!

AdGuard was my ad blocker of choice on Android for years, but man did they fall off a cliff recently. I used them when you could purchase a forever license (which I don't even think is an option anymore?), and it was great. All ads would be blocked basically everywhere, whenever they'd sneak through it just meant there was a filter that was out of date and needed to be updated.

Then about a year ago, the shenanigans started. Non-stop emails like OP is complaining about but also - their service BROKE whenever my phone would switch from data to wifi or vice versa. Like, any time it switched network types, just no internet would work at all. I'd have to force quit AdGuard and suddenly everything was fine. The timing happened when android updated from 12 to 13, so I figured it was something to do with that and emailed customer service. I got a notice that said something like "due to high ticket volume, it may be SEVERAL WEEKS before we get to your ticket or acknowledge it is being worked on, thank you for your patience." So they're spamming your inbox non-stop trying to click farm, but they have nobody actually working on the product. I never heard anything ever again (still haven't...account is still active, email is still the same). I tried reaching out 3 or 4 more times but I've never received a response.

So...yeah fuck em I guess.

Without being able to see the other side, the door swing direction bugs me too. Like why does it open to the middle of the room blocking the stairs there, instead of towards the wall? Otherwise it seems pretty cool. Probably a kids room + upscale attic.

She's the best, she's my favorite person and the only one out of everyone I was with that I knew I wanted to marry.

So I did and it's flourish years later. Right now she's yawning and fishing for back rubs before she falls asleep. She's still the best.

Is this only for iOS so far? Not seeing it on f-droid or play store.

Why in gods name is a movie review over an hour long? Reviews are short, concise summaries with commentary on the product as a whole. An hour long review of a bad movie is like watching half the bad movie with commentary!

Most mods of large subs are addicted to power, even if it's just a facade

Keepass2 as well. Probably can't go wrong with either one!

That's what I was saying when I first came to Lemmy. This is how reddit used to be. Before the digg migration it wasn't uncommon to see the same posts on the front page for days at a time because they were so active. It also wasn't uncommon to check it in the morning, and then see mostly the same posts that night. But, like here, usually the comments have developed and you can chat and have friendly banter with people. Reddit at that time I think still had loads more users than Lemmy does now, but the vibe was way more akin to what Lemmy is in its current state.
