Not all immigration is bad. Not all foreign workers are bad. However when companies/employers are allowed to freely manipulate the system so that Canadians cannot get the jobs or the training and 'scholarships' and apprenticeships are for women, indigenous, and immigrants first, then Canadians who are excluded will be resentful. There was a news report yesterday of someone trying to raise money to keep an unqualified student in Canada, all expenses paid, because that young person had "potential". So do many other young Canadians and yet no one is trying to sponsor them if their parents cannot afford to send them to post secondary training. When a Canadian needs a trade certificate to do a job but a TFW can use the fake certificate his friend created for him, it isn't a equal employment field.

Trump has learned that people will allow him to keep crossing over their "red line" and will draw an new red line. He's been doing it for years. Now Americans are saying he can throw out the Constitution, so long as they aren't yet personally impacted, but they will react at some future point when he gets even worse, maybe.

If anyone were really worried about privacy, all internet related companies would be in bankruptcy. Apple? Meta? Google? SnapChat? Reddit? You name it, their whole purpose is collecting the personal data of their users.

Poor Elon. Rich people really do not understand. Even if they came from poverty backgrounds, they lose perspective. They think they did it all by themselves to get where they are and do not understand that chance and luck play a big part in determining which 'hard workers with an idea' get ahead. The working world is littered with smarter people who just didn't get the breaks to become super rich. Once they are rich enough to waste $25M on a judge's election they really do not understand that for the majority of Americans losing their job can mean a quick succession to homelessness from which they may never recover.

Construction - building homes - may be something needed in Canada over the next few years if someone isn't a doctor or nurse.

Tesla stock is way, way overvalued. If it were based completely on the company and its product, it would be 1/5 or 1/6 of its current market value. That hyped-up value was based on Musk being a benevolent leader into a progressive future of electric vehicles, continentally available charging, shared infrastructure, getting off fossil fuels, solar and alternative energy sources, etc, etc. However now that he has shown that he is actually a regressive, do anything for a buck to be the first trillionaire even if he kills the USA in the process, a**hole, why would Tesla stock stay overvalued? Especially as every new line of Teslas has more problems, with the latest cybertruck being fully recalled? Anyone not bailing now is likely to lose most of their value the longer they wait. The MAGAs that Musk now appeals to are never going to buy an EV and his former supporters that he stabbed in the back will go on to other EV providers.

Not just gone from government, but dead. And none of his spawn in any government positions.
