He drove 16000km in 10 days. That's an average of 1600km a day. How the F do you accrue that amount of distance without exceeding legal driving limits (either speed or total time/day)?

Your vote is more than just consent for that party to enact their agenda. It is the strongest, if not the only, way to message both parties what you want government to do that they really listen too. Vote blue repeatedly and the Dems platform moves to the left as will the Reps eventually. Enough people vote blue consistently over time and the Reps would support healthcare reform etc...

Don't vote and you get ignored. Period.

no scrap of evidence for this was produced.

Not an American, but AOC is who I hope the Dems go with next time. She's the only thing I envy about your political situation atm.

;tldw Video claims PBJ time singer was incorrectly attributed to Jermaine Fuller (who is also alleged to be Snoop Dog's brother in-law) and spends 12 minutes describing their entire 'research' path to discovering DJ Chipman is the actual singer with 'Raylo and His Dawgs' co-producing. I have no idea what the latter half of the video rambles on about.

They didn't disagree with it. They asked you why. Answer the reasonable query or accept that the obvious 'because I crave attention' will be what everyone is thinking.

You know this whole post is doing absolute wonders for demonstrating exactly how reliable this particular Community apparently is. Seriously, posters linking articles with blatant ignorance of the subject matter, defending that choice (and their choice to link it demonstrating their lack of knowledge on the subject matter too), getting crazy up-votes from people who obviously don't know any better and then your comment of 'muh, Science vs Technology is an arbitrary distinction and totally not something where both rely on each other intimately'.

[Slow clap] thanks guys. Good to know if I ever need to cite how unreliable this community actually is I'll forever have this exquisite reference.

I suppose my explanation is out of scope, but that’s the only real reason that I know of.

It really isn't. This question is circular and relies on a presupposition that becomes ridiculous from the subsequent arbitrary rules imposed.

;tldr OP's question is out of scope for ELI5

As such, to decide what the thumbs up emoji meant in this case, Justice Keene of the Saskatchewan Court of King’s Bench considered how the farmer had communicated with the grain buyer in the past. Typically, the grain buyer would text a photo of the contract to the farmer and ask him to confirm the contract. The farmer would then text back, saying “looks good”, “ok”, or “yup”. The grain buyer and farmer would then proceed on the basis they had a contract. The farmer’s brief affirmative responses therefore meant agreement, not mere acknowledgement of receipt.

Justice Keene found that “👍” [thumbs up] was equivalent to the farmer’s previous responses like “looks good”, “ok”, and “yup”, which all signified agreement. As such, the farmer had entered into a valid and binding contract with the grain buyer. https://www.mckercher.ca/resources/rule-of-thumb-can-an-emoji-be-a-signature

I don't see a problem with leaving data out in public view. Hiding behind anonymity has already turned most of the internet into a dumpster fire. Maybe we'll see less trolls and hate publicly blasted with impunity from this. It will also put 'keeping private shit private' in the forefront of people's minds. What personal data are you worried about revealing on a glorified chat forum that you aren't directly responsible for publishing? edit: before this data was available mostly to the provider and anyone willing to pay for it. At least this way the data might become so publicly available it becomes worthless and the market dries up.
