Nah, it's because our armed forces are a joke and have been since like 1870. Denmark has never been a great power and our elites seem satisfied with just being leeches on the Americans. The current government's obsession with "strengthening the army" is just a way to ensure that the SocDems don't get wallopped because everything has gotten worse and Mette Frederiksen is a lunatic who's eyeing a job at NATO. Fortunately for us, she doesn't seem to be itching for another war the way Anders Fogh Rasmussen did, but she is still hellbent on proving her dedication to the Neoliberal circus.

True, China has also shown about zero initiative to any project that would involve dedollarization/debt cancellation at scale, which is another can of worms. Though I guess I understand why they would be hessitant about a debt jubilee, since it would make the Americans go nuts and probably do something stupid/posadist

I genuinely don't think this would happen if all the Dems in power hadn't been so psychologically invested in the Ukraine Project and probably coerced Israel into supporting Ukraine. Israel was the country that both Russia and Ukraine trusted to mediate the conflict at first, and now that Israel has begun giving shit to Ukraine, Russia is responding.

Heavily armed (for a civilian population not involved in a civil war), incredibly stupid and extremely angry about their collapsing standards of living.

Direct street kidnapping is probably too much of a risk, but sending a few ukro-nazis (sorry, Ukrainain diplomats) to Germany who then "persuade" a few dozen people to go back and join the fight is probably not too much a risk. As long as you don't directly black bag someone from the street, I don't see the Germans (or other Euros) doing much of anything.

Wait a minute, isn't a massive currency devalution only something you do if you need to give your exports a massive boost? And Argentina's main problem is the fact that they don't really export a lot other than beef and soybeans. Honestly, i don't even know how to "fix" Argentina even theoretically, their economy seems to be thoroughly broken to the point where not even Stalin could save them.

Didn't the right wing lunatic christians become a major part of the government of Lebanon? I seem to remember a bunch of weird stipulations about religion in the lebanese constitution and it's requirements for the parliament.

Thomas Massie has been consistently against any of the symbolic declarations of support for Israel for a while, to the point where AIPAC tried to run a smear campaign against him with his face in a black and white poster with the Words "Jew Hater" written underneath. I think he responded by declaring it election interference, but nothing came of it (obviously) but the guy somehow managed to stay seated.

Edit: Misspelled the freaks name

I miss the pig-fucker memes, so I kinda hope that Cameron does return.

Tbf I'm pretty sure that the Isreali embassy in Jordan was also burned down, and the State Dep of the United States began telling their citizens to withdraw from any of the countries surrounding Isreal, along with intensifying rocket attacks on the occupational bases in Iraq and Syria.

The fact that we are now doing American style austerity should probably be a bigger deal than most Danes are willing to make it. Litterally every part of our public sector is getting massive budget cuts, but somehow the cops and ministry of defence are getting upgrades out the wazoo.
