Nevermind that, you can't just pretend that a strike happened in your territory so the US saves an indeterminate amount of face. That's just not a thing even a client state can do and it's really funny that anyone in the admn may have thought otherwise.

You know Milei wasn't just lying to the liberteens to get votes when he has to make a communiqué reiterating that outsourcing Central Bank duties to the United States is not negotiable. Because, as it turns out, the liberals and the capitalists think that's a bad idea for some reason.

I don't really understand this. how could they air drop something in Gaza without Israel knowing about it? seems like a stunt to try to pacify their citizens - "hey look, we're doing something!"

that's exactly what it is. wether jordan could or would do more or not, appearing to do something for palestinians is politically more important for the state. image is two thirds of everything.

Its one thing to attack a military checkpoint directly on the border with your territory

The palestinians do not have territory. They do not have borders to defend nor any standing as human beings before the regime in Tel Aviv. They live in open air concentration camps under permanent blockade of water, supplies and electricty. It's not surprising that you enjoy misrepresenting the conflict given that your only recourse so far has been a knee jerk reaction to anyone who even so much smells as pro palestinian.

I think it's also down to who's arguing for their entry. Russia and India want Iran. China wants Saudi and the UAE, but has deals with everybody. Brazil want Argentina. So it's down to priorities for the alliance. This is a test run after all.
