They aren't against automation per se. They are against losing their jobs due to automation with no decent safety net to cover the obsolete workers. No schooling program, no severance pay, etc. This is a very realistic thing to be concerned about when it comes to automation. Workers in other industries have secured rights to protect them from automation because of strikes like this.

They are recruiting in other countries like The Netherlands. Trying to intimidate refugees. But somehow they are still winning if I have to believe the news and the libs.

This just in: war is literal hell and most people don't feel like dying for the interest of a select few people.

It's weird because when you join the EU you have to adhere to basically similar laws regarding transparancy in NGOs. But the goal is to get Georgia into the EU so then it doesn't matter anymore. Right now they aren't, and this transparancy law would painfully show the amount of EU funded NGOs in Georgia, stirring up shit.

Somewhere I really think these people believe they are on the right side of this. Because even though the capitalist overlords have their own benefits of Israel existing, defending it this much surely isn't worth the PR drama, right? Like, it's one thing not taking a stance on the topic like many other European countries do, but to actively defend Israel this hard is something else.

I don't see anyone holding up signs celebrating those hostages. Hostages who Israel also refused to take back. And it's funny how nobody is talking about thousands of Palestinians who have been taken and jailed by Israel on bullshit charges.

Nobody is celebrating the hostages. It's just an emotional abuse card people pull up when Israel's genocidal tactics get pointed out. And then we suddenly feel bad for hostages. Thousands of dispalced, kidnapped and killed people on Palestinian side don't get the same treatment.

For the West, destabilizing Western Africa is not a bad thing per se. But they'd have to have faith in ECOWAS being able to swiftly beat Niger and possibly Guinea, Burkina Faso and Mali. It will be interesting to see what they will do if the conflict lingers on for a longer time, or what they will do if Russia supports Niger. Wagner should already be in Niger if I'm not mistaken.

The US might have some spare parts laying around that they can ship to ECOWAS, but I'm doubtful France and other European allies will support yet another war when most of them are getting into a recession right now.
