I don't think I've ever watched anything from Amazon directly.

Seen lots of their content though :) 🏴‍☠️

It's not so much the connector; but the power delivery standard.

Type A maxes out at 5v 3a = 15w and is often limited closer to 5v 1a = 5w for public-use charging ports.

Type C and its power delivery standards can get as high as 50v 5a = 250w (though usually closer to 20v 5a = 100w)

Then again.... The negotiation for what voltage/amperage to supply happens over the data lines which you don't want connected on a public charging port...

I dont really see a good solution here.

So, for the slow people in the back... (me)

Copyleft = permanently open source? Ie, you can't take the open source code/project and make it closed source? (or build a new closed project off of it?)

Or am I misunderstanding?

Seeing a post with 0 upvotes (and seprate downvotes) always makes me chuckle.

'huh, even OP thinks this is bullshit...'

I'm so glad I purged windows from my systems this year.

Go fuck yourself Microsoft.

If SpaceX moves, and it's worker's are unwilling/unable to move; does that grant them severance?

I'd take that out.

Because library patrons are the ones setting military policy ofc.... Glad the message is reaching the right people.

They're often pretty quiet too.

Get an automatic/self-driving one, and you can just watch your vegetation be mutilated instead of doing it yourself.

The bridge was closer, costs $0 (as long as you're not caught by law enforcement), and it's difficult to enforce no-dumping laws as garbage doesn't ID it's owner most of the time and you just can't watch every dumping spot 24/7.

The people that do this are also not particularly wealthy. It's hard to justify the cost of transport and disposal fees when you struggle to feed and house yourself.

I will say; it's nice they state who paid for it. That's better than just the generic 'sponsored' label.

Damn paywalls...

Short article though:

Donald Trump can be prosecuted for trying to overturn the 2020 US election, a federal appeals court ruled, rejecting his claim of immunity and moving him closer to trial before November’s presidential vote as he seeks to return to the White House. The decision by a three-judge panel with the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit marks a watershed moment in the historic prosecution of Trump by Special Counsel Jack Smith on criminal charges of conspiring to reverse his loss in the last election and remain in power. Trump, the frontrunner for the Republican nomination, may be the first major party candidate to stand trial for criminal actions while campaigning for the presidency.
