🎵I want to beat dialysis

But one kidney's not enough

Forget about the waitlist

And collect them just because 🎵

Kidneymon!

I'm about 40 hours into Trails To Azure and it's been a blast going through The Legend Of Heroes and the Trails series in order.

I believe emoji was a Japanese creation, not a Apple creation: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emoji

I use Deezer's family plan that includes FLAC/HiFi for $15.99/month.

I know it's not like this for everyone but I have a 3.5 year old and he is what provides me the energy to keep going and brings me so much joy. Sure, I boot up the Steam Deck about 3-5 hours a week but my multi-hours gaming sessions I don't miss at all.

For downloading music in bulk, I personally subscribe to Deezer and then run Deemix in Docker which allows me to download offline audio in FLAC. I then serve those FLAC using Plex and Navidrome.

Looks great! I feel like every time I make pancakes it's never consistent (because I usually eyeball everything). I guess I should start measuring things hahaha!

What the secret to a really good pancake?

I'm usually a lot of what others are posting. One of my favorites so far has been HumHub. It's a social media platform that's like an old-school Facebook before all the news and ads. Currently have about 20ish members and it made available just for my large extended family. A lot of us already left Facebook so it's nice to have a similar set of features just for us without outside influences.

I just signed up for a monthly donation to keep things running using their GitHub sponsorship page: http://github.com/sponsors/sunaurus

Love this community!

During the lockdowns my son was born. What's really rekindled my love for gaming was not a particular game, but how I gamed. Getting a Steam Deck totally changed things for me and made it really convenient to access my gaming library.

The first thing I did with it was not actually play new titles but visit my backlog of older JRPG games that I had missed out on (specifically the Trails series).

Gaming at my desk where I worked wasn't the same as gaming on the couch or next to my son while he was sleeping. Sounds silly but it's made it much more enjoyable!
