vanilla has terrible balance, but part of the 'modernizing' solutions transpose features from other games that make skyrim eassier than it was originally--not having to remember what kind of ingredients are useful for the potions you make, knowing the stats of your foes, camera lock on--it's complicated whether these decisions constitute better design in concert with the whole modified game, i just think it's funny that individual components of them are more hand-holding than vanilla features

my fedora KDE plasma desktop makes sounds at me. this is hard to describe to google, but it's a sound somewhat like a windows notification or error? my keyboard blinks when it does this.

you can put a nuclear warhead in an artillery piece, it's a question of range when the nuclear power you're dealing with is not next door. Being able to nuke SK is utterly assured but the DPRK is not trying to have nuclear deterrence against SK, they are deterring the US, whose missiles are either across the pacific or on submarines in that ocean--both prospects which can be guarded against with naval interception
