I have both of those issues as well and I know how worthless this sounds for you right now: counting my calories and having a good eating routine helped me get healthy. It's nice that my hyper fixation is focused on my wellbeing right now.

True. While I don't think humanity doesn't have to avoid consuming animal products as a whole it would be great if alternative protein sources were cheaply available (and ideally subsidized) so that cheap meat products become unappealing.
Simultaneously we should have a higher standard of treatment for animals and beef in particular should be much less available because of its extensive influence on the climate.

While what you're saying is generally true about trees, they're creating poplars for the paper industry. They will grow in big monocultures and get mowed down after just a decade. That's pretty much worthless as an ecosystem.
They're grown in a similar way for biomass for the energy sector. Poplars are probably the easiest way to build up a lot of biomass.

I strongly recommend trying a hand fan with eau thermal
It's basically just water in a spray can but nothing hits like that on a hot day.
