One of the players of my regular Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay group couldn't make it, so I tried running a 1-shot in 2d6 because I thought it was gonna be like Skald (or even a more straightlace Disco Elysium). It's incredibly rules-light, to the point where you may have to rule zero some stuff as you go.

(Edit: No, the action economy is fucked. Totally fucked.)

1-shot has become a 2-shot due to a player being late and me not being finished drafting NPC stat blocks when the game was scheduled to start, but otherwise has gone better than expected. I had anticipated being a lot more railroad-y with it, but my players seem to be making a decent amount of space for role-playing where there otherwise wasn't much.

I've only seen bits and pieces but I thoroughly enjoyed what I saw. I think my favorite part is that I can't identify it as an adaptation of any one myth.

Shame it got cancelled but Netflix gonna Netflix.

Picked up Metal Slug Tactics on the Steam sale. Been waiting 3 years for that game. It's appropriately difficult, as those games used to devour my quarters in the arcades. My only real complaint is that they got Marco's face all wrong.

Edit: Also Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay. They just finished Shadows Over Bögenhafen and are in the process of sailing to Altdorf.

Thanks for helping us get traction, we really need a dedicated melee fighter.

The rhino beetle's main form of attack is to gain leverage over their opponent using their horn and fling them overhead in an insect suplex, so "better at melee" is apt. I don't know of any butterfly that utilizes any kind of ranged attack, so I can't say for sure if they'd be better with guns.

Nah, corporations would have meathead chuds chomping at the bit to represent them in gladiatorial combat.

Any group whose name starts with "Storm" is probably bad news.

Sorta slowed down on Outer Worlds, though I'm getting close to the end. I have a crew I'm very happy with.

I also got the RDR re-release since my xbox red-ringed when I had it the first time.

Not sure what I'll be playing next, apart from my flight simulators.
