This. My phone camera takes ultra high resolution pictures then algorithmically processes them. They look more beautiful and real than reality.

I developed a theory because of these fuckers, which is that the scale of a things creepiness is based on how many legs it has and how fast they are.

I used to get them in my last apartment and when I saw one I literally couldn't sleep until I knew it was dead

Exactly, there's a whole bunch of "winter" cowboys in Montana and Wyoming, lol

The thought of having literally every tool conceivable immediately available without having to move is fantastic.

I'm in love with the concept of laying under my car, while also being able to get any particular tool in my hand, without ever having to get up, or having a little pile of sockets, wrenches, and bolts next to me that I have to navigate by feel.

For printers, I'd like to suggest picking up a brother laser scanner/copier/printer off Craigslist.

They can usually be had for ~$100 if you just get black and they'll last for a stupidly long time. Toner is expensive but you'll easily get 1500+ pages out of one cartridge and it never dries out.

If you want color, look around for an HP laserjet pro. They're usually commercial grade and while you'll probably pay a fair bit more, I see them on Craigslist regularly for ~$150-250 depending on the model. I have one in my office and I've gotten several thousand pages through it with zero problems.

The case where it was determined that a company has a fiduciary duty to share holders to maximize profit is up there with Dobbs and Citizens United in terms of damage caused to the fabric of society.

They cancel shows that aren't binge watched in the first eight weeks because of payment agreements made with the production companies. They have to pay royalties for all views that occur outside of that defined period. Which is still profitable, it's just less so.

But they're not interested in making good, watchable content. They're only interested in profit, and producing a show which is watched immediately is what maximizes that profit.

Same in the southwest US. It was WET the last two days. And normally that would mean snow this time of year. And nothing... just waterlogged cold mud

When kept separate from a receiver, it's perfectly legal, they're just gun parts. So just make sure you travel with it in pieces and only shoot with friends out in nature

Maybe we get lucky and he has a cheeseburger embolism between now and then and then Walter Reed docs just choose to try a little less hard that day.
