It's often said that Democrats today are Republicans of the 90's/00's, and this is further proof of that on top of the reasons you mentioned.

The United States went so hard on being anti-communist that we became anti community.

I don't know that I'd call them idealistic. They were landed nobles who didn't want to pay the increased taxes levied on them. Which in turn were to pay for the war their government had fought on their behalf to protect them from the native people whose land they had stolen. By exterminating those native people.

I actually have a SATA cable and power plug discreetly tucked in a spot in my PC case and have just taken the side off and plugged in a drive on occasion. It's normal purpose is troubleshooting other hard drives, but it works for that too

It always feels like a conservative saying something about "states rights."

Sure the economy is good. But good for whom?

I'm one of the few who even have a primary care physician but I really only see them basically annually to get my blood pressure meds, or for general non-urgent health concerns like, "I'm tired all the time, is it that I'm in my mid thirties, or do I have low testosterone like my dad?" The wait time is usually like 4 months unless I think it's urgent, then they can usually squeeze me in in the next 3-4 weeks. I don't normally have to schedule the blood pressure visit but only because they'll schedule it a year out for me when I'm there.

Anything else, like respiratory infections, covid, flu, strep, etc... urgent care is my only option and unless I get there at 6am when they open it's usually a 4 hour ordeal.

I get why some limits are necessary, a company doesn't want a Microsoft Tae repeat...but after Chat GPT was made available to the public, the rapid addition of a whole range of guardrails made it nearly immediately unusable.

You ask it about anything which is controversial in the slightest regard and it shuts down, which for me at least, removes any interest in using it.

This one basically had the same plot as the heist episode of Rick and Morty

This is us. We operate perfectly as a team and we each function as an extension of the others body. We just synchronize so flawlessly that we're basically dancing around each other in the kitchen.

I feel so fortunate to have finally found someone I mesh with this thoroughly, but I live in perpetual terror that she'll be taken from me suddenly or unexpectedly by accident or sickness.
