I saw a couple of DIY portable PC like this, a SFF in a suitcase, a portable 15" screen attached to it, hinge with a small keyboard, etc, in a kind of DIY enclosure.

I wanted to do it with my mini PC (a bee-link, it's like 4"x5"x2"), with a usb-c portable monitor (no external AC adapter needed), and my Lenovo Trackpoint Keyboard II (super slim, with a trackpoint so no need for external mouse), all in a small Aluminum Attache Case

What we see from the outside, is that a lot of people (poors, rednecks, trailer park people, etc) voted for him to gut ObamaCare, not knowing they were on it too... All those people don't want to pay for others healthcare even if they themselves don't pay a penny in taxes and get them for free.

What a good time those years were!

It was the same for I guess Google, 15 years ago I'd have apply for a job there, now? no. Right now I'd not apply to everything Musk, Meta, Google, MS, IBM, HP, etc. It does not work. small company, max 100 people, are better.

It's not that they don't work, it's that their employers (boomers own the companies) don't want to pay them

I have an old application, EagleCAD, from 2014, a 32bit app, I managed to install it on my linux (Debian based, 64bits) and it works fine, but I had to look for and install some lib manually.

How can I package all this, the bin and libs, into one that I could easily re-install on about any distro? AppImage? Flatpak? Snap?

And strangely enough those kind of guy live in a million $$$ mansion or condo and spend $50'000/month on frivolities, even in bankruptcy

It's incredible that I was on reddit for 13 years or something, daily, maybe I spent 20'000 hours there. Then I dropped after the API fiasco (I'm a SyncPro user) and never went back, I have no clue what's going on since ~July and I don't care and I don't miss it :)

I agree, it was a good movie, hopefully it does not get destroyed with sequels

Spawn as a daemon, and be sure to kill the child before

My Y daughter is doing well, maybe it will be shitty for her to buy a house or condo but she can. My Z one, yeah, I'm helping her, paying stuff here and there like groceries, microwave, etc, she's in her own flat and all and is not too bad but still, rent is 40% of her earning. It's ok to help your kids.
