Came here to mention La Sirena from Picard.
Hologram bridge crew with fully hologram passenger quarters, the introverts starship par excellence 👌

I am now more impressed at what Lower Decks did with fewer, shorter episodes a season than Discovery.
Well said, I can't help but agree.
I'm part of the sad cohort that liked S1 the most, so I envy those for whom the show got better. Yall got a much better ride.
I have a half-baked thought of my own.
That as the world slides into the maws of oligarchy, we need to see the Star Trek series that zooms in on the transition away from money.
They should face the music of class war with that Trek panache that made them great👌
There is this thing we need to find that thing. An entire season about finding that thing.
Ah yes, the season-sized adventure that feels like a bunch of yak-shaving fetch-quests in an rpg.
we must find the progenitor macguffin, but first we must find the treasure map, but first...
If we look for it we probably see this pattern is common across many trek episodes, but across a season they managed to do it in such a way that feels very obvious and hard to miss.
Bottom one looks like Enterprise D with no neck or arms.
I wonder if it came with the emergency saucer sep package?
He pulls back an entire fleet after Worf quotes ~~Kaylee’s~~ Kahless to him, which I felt demonstrated how Gowron deep down values honor.
After that though he decides to give Martok the Flavius Aetius treatment, despite how slimy it is.
Edit: kahless
Edit 2: forgot to agree with you! Ultimately he’s very cartoonish because he goes so hard with his lines and stares. Especially when he threatens to paint the future with blood if the council supports Duras’ heir.
Ooh, I see what you did there and I like it
You have 2 main characters to follow and it’s absolutely different based on your age.
Very similar experience with Cars 3. Children identify with the new up-and-comer race car while grownups identify with a Lightning McQueen who must accept his glory days are past and embrace the next generation.
Shoutout for the race announcer who drops a microcosm of the whole film in a single line:
McQueen’s fading! Fading fast!
How about a Worfian view on on honor:
In war, there is nothing more honourable than victory.
Worf would absolutely jump out an airlock, drunk on honour, if it would actually mean victory.
But Worf wouldn’t jump out just to die for Gowron’s lulz.
They could do an episode in this idea too, you got a stew going here 🤙
Some aliens arrive looking for Dax (who remembers them and why they've come) but then the aliens kidnap Dax!
After some science the crew learns that Dax must have diverged in the past and the aliens are seeking the Other Dax.
The crew finds the Other Dax, explains the situation, and cooks up a ruse to free both Dax and Other Dax.
Episode ends on Other Dax's personal log detailing a trip home to the TSC.
Getting from there to here 👌
For the first two seasons I would listen to right up I til the title card disappeared, just long enough for the first two verses and that sweet whiff of a strings section.
Oh, this definitely includes Renegades 👌
