It can be fun to consider something that is clearly a joke, semi-seriously, with obvious hints of sarcasm and dry humour involved... I think we just have a different idea of what qualifies as a denial of the idea here. I don't think anyone denying the idea of Capybaras eating millionaires constructively is taking it seriously.
