The US/West has no clue on what to do. The problem for them is that the Japan-model is stuck in their heads: “if we only bomb them enough they will liberalise and westernise and be like us". Instead they are dealing with a civilization that isn't afraid to die and has no desire to ever westernize.
Yemen in many ways is more like Afghanistan. The people don’t care about what the west thinks or wants. They only care about “you are an armed-stranger in my land, you get a bullet between your eyes”. The US could find generous and hospitable people all across Yemen if they only drop their genocidal and imperialist mindset.

Today I heard Ansar Allah’s spokesperson on Alarabi saying that the US has been fighting them since 2004, and they wouldn’t have come to power if it weren’t for that.

This is not going well and is making me sad. This will set Iran back years. I don't know if Iran is choosing to go soft on Israel or if they are giving them all they got and it isn't much.
