I'm planning to get a handheld gaming computer and install one of the open source Linux gaming distros on it, like ChimeraOS or Bazzite

Yeah, Google translate doesn't actually work well. If you can speak any English, it's probably better to do it yourself, even if it's not your first language

Sure, but that's not nearly as funny as oversimplifying it

My favorite mode of transportation is: magic portal!

copilot prompta wizard in his kitchen casting a portal to the grocery store. food sits half-prepared on the kitchen counter. through the portal you can see grocery store shelves. the wizard is able to walk through the portal to get to the grocery store

I think what you meant was vehicle rather than transportation, but I followed the letter of the law 😜
Specifically, I think the best method of transportation is magic portals. not technological portals, which I think would just kill and clone you. Magic gets around that problem by using... magic
Instantaneous transportation to wherever you want is just beautiful. So good.

It was hard to get copilot to make a portal large though to walk through, which was an annoying surprise lol

I imagine that'd be just as fucked up to aliens:

Their brain injects feelgood drugs to reward them for being scared??? and they got addicted?!?!

Lol people who think this type of thing is a legally binding contract that supersedes their EULA.

I think it's a good idea, but we have to be careful about the effect of malicious instances pumping up their own user reputations and lowering reputations of other users, maliciously.

Ideally these instances would be defederated, but sometimes it's just communities within an instance that it is problematic. There need to be solutions to this, as well as a way for the reputation system to retroactively change reputation upon defederation of an instance, or banning of a user.

I have a bachelor's of computer science, but some of the best coders I met just did a 2 year community college diploma.

I don't think that spending lots of money on education is really a great litmus test, it's just one minor indicator.

I'm not sure you understand the words you're using.

Just admit that you lost, man. It's embarassing.

It always blows my mind that capitalists say "then just vote with your wallet" until you use your wallet to vote differently than they want.

Anti-woke people unironically crying about wanting a safe space is just so deliciously ironic.
