NGL I was kinda hoping that JT would see the polls and actually finally get rid of FPTP as a big middle finger to PP (or in a last act of desperation), but we're not gonna be that lucky
Is this a real recall or an OTA update?
I hate Tesla, but a lot of news outlets are like
TESLA RECALLS BAJILLION CARS And what they really mean is they released an OTA update to fix some extremely rare race condition.
The issue is still bad, but I feel like the news outlets are sensationalizing to the point of dishonesty sometimes.
To be clear I'm not sure I understand the actual underlying issue here, so idk how deserved the headline is, but whenever I see them, I'm immediately skeptical
You realize that Trump's supreme Court Justices are the ones who legalized exactly that, right?
๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ Dude became more hateful and delusional as he aged, he should have been removed from public life decades ago
Wait... Who is "it" in "it's CEO"??? Which CEO has ties?
I guess I'll have to actually read the article.
Also same thing but no straight men.
Judging from this comment section, I have clearly missed something
This just makes me sad because I'm too old now. It's bad to judge a book by its cover, but they all just look so... Shonen. Teen highschool romance, teen battle anime, etc. I've become so jaded wrt all the teen protagonist Shonen tropes.
At least frieren is at the top ๐
Surprise: when you cut and defund a service, and drive away the front line workers, then that service deteriorates.
The real question is: was it intentional (to promote privatization), was it incompetence, or was it apathy?
One problem I see:
You can google site:reddit.com whatever
But if you google site:lemmy.world whatever
then you're losing a significant amount of results. To get good results, you need to know which Lemmy instances is likely to have your answer, and with communities duplicated over different servers, that can be tough.
In the end I find I prefer this federation model, although I'm not sure although I'm a bit concerned about funding it if it scales up to the size of Reddit (same with Mastodon vs twitter).
Yeah, but it's a pretty pathetic passtime. At least find a good reason, rather than doing literally the thing you want them to do.
Like, insulting them for leaving is just as bad as them crying that their toxic behavior scares people away. It makes no sense.
