That is very much not their official website. Looks pretty sketchy in fact, with that "GTA V Download APK" link on the bottom.
I find his content incredibly annoying to watch. Especially the editing style with all its rapid cuts as well as the constant shouting. It's made for people with no attention span.
It's nice that he donates to some good causes, but multi-millionaires shouldn't exist in the first place, and donations from rich people won't fix the world.
I don't see the point of this. Why would a mouse need constant software updates? I could plug in a 20 year old mouse and it would work just fine on my PC, no updates needed.
That much is a given. Nintendo never goes for top-performance (well, not since the 90s) and it wouldn't make sense for them either.
Of course men can be into girly things. It's not your place to decide someone's gender and incredibly rude to try and force it on a person. The fact that you misgender him this entire post while even admitting he prefers male or neutral pronouns really shows a lack of respect.
I have a hard time picturing how a "return to nomadic tribes" would even work. How would you turn a densely populated country like, say, the Netherlands, into nomadic tribes? The planet could never sustain 8 billion people living as nomads. Not to mention, it wouldn't stop war or conquest in any way. See the Mongols, Scythians etc.
Areas with lots of city states have historically been hotbeds of war and chaos. Ancient Greece or the HRE constantly had tiny states squabbling. It would also make large infrastructure projects much harder. Building a highspeed railway line through Europe is hard enough right now, imagine the same thing but instead of 5 countries, it goes through 50. It would also be a mess to get any unified environmental policies through.
So no, I don't think either option is realistic or desirable.
The ones I've been playing on and off over the past few years are Guild Wars 2 and Lord of the Rings Online.
GW2 is a really nice game to just pick up and play without needing huge time investments. It has a fun gameplay loop and well designed zones to explore. Haven't gotten around to playing the new expansion yet, but I hear it's pretty good.
LOTRO is great for that traditional MMO experience. The community is very friendly and surprisingly active. It has a nice atmosphere. They are also frequently giving away the expansion packs, so you get a lot of content for free.
Because they've done it many times in the past? Wii, WiiU, Gameboy series, DS series all had backwards compatibility.
I think "stealing" from reddit is fine, but the automated stuff sucks. Lemmy isn't just supposed to be a carbon-copy of reddit. Having everything flooded with reddit posts would lead to Lemmy just being a dead "Reddit archive" without original content or engagement. Just look at places like /c/AskReddit@lemmit.online , completely dead. Lemmy doesn't even have the userbase to actually engage with such a large amount of content and having thousand of bot posts will be incredibly detrimental to the community.
It's most commonly used to refer to the USA.
