Moondrop Chu 2 earphones. I use expensive Hifi gear at home, but those are more than good enough on the go while also being cheap enough for me not to have to worry about them getting damaged or stolen.

what if, by giving the lesser evil more energy and making them a greater evil, you give them the ability to put you in prison camps when the original greater evil could not?

You haven't explained how that is supposed to work though. Why couldn't the greater evil do this, what's stopping them? And you truly think that every political party has the very same goals underneath? Let's take an extreme example: Germany 1932. You think if the SPD (social democrats) had won the election instead of the NSDAP, it would have been just as bad? You think they would have also slaughtered all the Jews and started WW2, because they were secretly just as evil? That doesn't sound reasonable or realistic to me. There's more to politics than whether a party is capitalist or socialist. Nuances exist.

I don't think I've ever seen a book series getting so many adaptations in such a short time.

The workers literally get paid bonuses for each phone that gets made. The phone's parts all get certified for sustainability. They need to find manufacturers willing to fulfill their requirements, for which they will obviously charge more.

I'm not saying that they're for everyone or should be free from criticism. I personally decided against buying one due to the size, performance and camera. But if you're complaining about a sustainable product costing more than a regular one, you're missing the point and were never in the target audience in the first place.

Scooter riders definitely seem to be often less safety conscious than cyclists in my experience. Probably 70% of cyclists in my area wear a helmet and 10% at most of scooter riders. I've also seen stuff like people riding on sidewalks and up to 3 people on a single scooter.

That sounds like a specific problem to whatever country you live in, not trades in general.

Mid-sized village (around 10k inhabitants) in Germany:

  • 4 grocery stores

  • 2 pharmacies

  • Bus stop (and train station)

  • 5 or so restaurants

  • Post office

  • Bank

  • Gas station

  • Elementary school

  • 2 Kindergartens

  • 2 barber shops

  • Bar

  • Sports field (calling it an arena would be a bit much)

Alas, no university or hospital, but I think for a village it's pretty good.

Yes, even in millions of years, traces of human civilization should still be easily detectable by a future civilization. The geological record will contain many elements that don't occur naturally and would point to an industrial civilization. Some relics of human civilization will fossilize or otherwise be preserved. Finally, there will be well preserved human-made objects in space, either in high earth orbit or on the moon.

In all my years of riding trains, I've indeed never witnessed that. Usually everyone just tries really hard to ignore them.

In my opinion, yes. I get bored of most survival games very quickly, but this one really managed to hook me. The combination of survival, monster collecting and automation somehow works extremely well.

What made BG3 "antiquated" to you? Just the nature of it being a cRPG? I thought it had some really good modern game design.

I imagine they care about the players who didn't, who, let's be real here, make up the majority of players on emulators.
