There is an article about him on Know Your Meme. Apparently it's just a character some guy on Twitter made.
Personally, I wouldn't even consider it, as I value my time and health far more than getting some extra money. 40 hours is already quite a lot IMO.
"Can we integrate AI into this app?"
"Can you do a browser version of this high-end VR training application?" somehow makes a browser version "Why isn't this running on my iPhone 3GS?!"
The "vulnerability" here was basically just having Kernel level access, which CrowdStrike is intended to have. If hackers had that, they've already won anyway. The difficulty lies in actually getting that level of access. So no, it doesn't change a thing for hackers.
TBH, I feel like the Marvel hype has mostly died off at this point. A few years ago, pop culture was all about it and you couldn't avoid hearing about every new movie coming out. Now, I couldn't even tell you what the current Marvel movies are and nobody I know is talking about them. The biggest super hero franchise now seems to be "The Boys", which is pretty much a deconstruction of the whole idea of superheroes.
I've read that according to polls, it might sway about 6% of Trump voters. If that actually happens then yes, it would matter a lot for the outcome of the election. That's a big if though, so I guess we'll see.
So oft wie ich das seit Anfang des Krieges schon bei jeder noch so kleinen Unterstützung der Ukraine gehört habe, müssten wir inzwischen schon mindestens beim fünften Weltkrieg sein.
The lemmy devs should really focus on proper content deletion tools. It's not just the images, it's very strange and inconsistent overall. When I delete a comment, it's seemingly still visible to many people and collecting up/downvotes even many hours after I deleted it. On the other hand, when a post gets deleted, it's completely gone, to the point that I can't even look up the discussion that I had within that post, just my own comments on my profile.
This is actually hilarious. Never trusted them for a minute, but didn’t expect the rugpull to happen after just a few days. Wonder if Steam will refund everyone.
VVVVVV is pretty great.
No sane admin would want to run such a site, as it would very quickly be filled with wildly illegal content, for which the admin will be held responsible if they don't remove it. Feel free to set up your own Lemmy instance with no rules if you like though, see where it gets you.
I have a Z flip and while it's far from perfect, foldable flip phones are great and I'd choose them over a same-spec regular phone every day. Much more convenient to carry in my pocket compared to a slab and basically having an included tripod for photos is pretty nice as well.
