Can't wait for the supporters to come out and gas light buyers instead: "uh, well of course they couldn't. He didn't lie you just don't understand tech...!

I work in IT and people that think like that can fuck themselves. "What do you mean Meta lied by selling your data to a company you didn't know about. Maybe you should just have never trusted Meta."

Stupid fucking boot lickers.

Its sure as hell is a stupid threatening way to put it.

He could have said something far more professional like, I don't know:

"She constantly wants to go to war but she doesn't understand what that is really like. Put her in the boots of a soldier and see how she holds up and maybe she would have some empathy."

Fuck Trump, he can't even speak like an adult or form a proper statement. There are so many ways this could have been executed in a professional manner. It is a threat regardless of you and the 25+ upvotes. The projection here is this is how a from of punishment for this kind of thing is seen in his world view.

By the way, he also knows jack shit about being in a war or being a soldier. Why don't we also put him in a military uniform and put him on the frontlines. This is fucking Trump just being fucking Trump.

Look, I am not a billionaire loving guy anymore than some of you are.

But has anyone here considered that Musk has made an impact on the views of young white men (whom also happen to be Republican and Conservative or Proud Boys?

Does it bother us that these men follow a billionaire who doesn't give two shits about them? Yes.

Do I care that Taylor Swift is the opposite of that and encourages young women and men, be it black, gay, trans, etc to be opposite end of that spectrum. Fuck yes, we shouldn't base our views off the rich but has it ever occurred to anyone here that it is using those billionairs to represent and have them be vocal with the power they hold with our views instead?

I will absolutely take Taylor Swift speaking up and saying what she believes in and her giving that voice to 100000+ people whose only voice is heard in a vote if her speaking up also encourages people to say fuck Trump and and Musk and every fucking dumb ass on this post that thinks Taylor speaking out is a bad thing by comparison to it somehow being worse then what they already do with Musk.

Fuckem, fuck billionaires, but God damn keep fucking roasting them TSwiftie.

I love chicken, pork, and beef. I have tried the meat alternatives and I like most of what I have tried. I would be vegetarian if it honestly wasn't so expensive sometimes. Not to say meat isn't also expensive.

I work with a guy who is a vegan and honestly. I don't get the hate towards the life style. Guy is as healthy as they get and morally more sound in the area of food than I am.

What am I missing on Vegan hate or even vegetarian hate. No one imposes on me. Honestly, I feel like they have something figured out I dont.

This is what Reddit used to do for me. The weirdest thing Reddit ever did was give me the name of an insect that for years I tried to Google when I would see it and I have legitimately only ever seen the bug 3 times in my 28 years of life. They are so small, so infrequent, and so rare that I thought for years I wasn't even seeing an I sect but just a fuzz from a dandelion once it changes.

I mean for actual fucking years I could not find the regular name, the slang name (usually changes based on dialect, or even the scientific name. The amount of times I searched for "white fuzzy bug" or "white floating bug." No matter the combination. I even would tell people, "I remember seeing this bug and I have seen it so rarely I don't even know if it is real." And most of my friends would say, "yeah never seen it." And then that one friend would say, "dude me too." And then one fucking day I open Reddit and God dammit if I didn't believe it someone gave me the name. Actual years of feeling insane and thinking those little fuckers were a sign of something higher because of how fragile and cute they are and Reddit not only gives me the name, confirms I am sane but enlightens me on the little bastards they actually are.

I am from West Virginia and if you made it this far well by God if you have seen one then I swear on mother nature you aren't insane and we are in this together.

EDIT: A better site and image

My activity dropped because I can't enter a single thread that isn't about, big corpo, Linux, and how I shouldn't spend money.

That is also a giant red flag. Normally, when you are paid via some non-taxable reward, it means your "promotion" isn't ever going to come with benefits that allow you to go climbing up the ladder. You made a good decision there.

For those of you that have never used Sync here on Lemmy. Sync for reddit had a tablet mode switch you could toggle on and it was easily the most user friendly app with tablets it could split your feed in half while allowing you to scroll right in the feed and on the left hand side for your threads and it created multi tabs for threads you had open.

I wonder if Sync for Lemmy will be able to do the same thing.
