I have a gwatch 4 and the hardware is fine. The flaw is Google's half-assed android fork WearOS, and then the layer of Samsung software that somehow makes it worse.

You could have infinite memory and processor in there and it wouldn't solve the jank.

Yes, but DDG seems to have worse organic results in my experience. I mean the bar is low, but DDG falls under it.

I hope so. Theyve already got scary implications for creative parts of the economy.

That said, we're in the Cambrian explosion of the tech. As it plateaus, the next step will be enhanced tooling and convenience around it. Better inputs than just text, better, more applications in new spaces, etc.

And that's why I started on prozac.

Has anybody actually successfully produced a proper firearm with a 3D printer? Like, one that doesn't melt after firing a shot? Who are these people who've created this nonsensical panic?

Oh I'm not talking about the fact that MS bought Activision Blizzard. I'm talking about the specific quotes in the article. I can't imagine Nadella vocally championing gambling as a good outcome from this buyout.

Like, look in your article

ctrl-F "gambling"

Jabber has been an available standard for over 20 years. Google jumped onto it and then jumped off in their infamous cycle of ADHD on the subject of instant messaging. They have nobody to blame but themselves for the "green speech bubbles" problem -- they could have a lot more credibility here.

Fun fact: the most active air-route in North America is Toronto to NYC, which is about a 750km drive if you try to do a direct route, 850km if you follow the current Amtrak route through Albany, which hits all the major upstate cities for you.

Dedicated high speed rail goes about 300-350km/h. It would be reasonable to image that trip taking 2.5 hours, maybe 3.5 or 4 hours if you do the Albany route and milk-run all the stops like Hamilton, Niagara, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Utica, and Albany.

13 of them were belugas. The government shouldve never let them start keeping belugas back in '99.

The media aiming ire at the Federal Liberals isn't just unhelpful, it's actually extremely counter-productive.

Like, let's say you work at $BIGCORP and you're embezzling, and you're not hiding it well. And the CFO says "$BIGCORP has an embezzling problem! We need to fix this urgently! As a result, I'm raising pressure on SomeOtherGuy to stop this problem!"

You're not SomeOtherGuy, you're you. What do you do? Do you stop embezzling? Do you shut up and keep doing it? Do you quietly encourage the CFO to keep the pressure on SomeOtherGuy to fix the problem?

Because as long as the press is aiming the ire at the feds, they're keeping the heat off of the people most able to fix the problem.

Fundamentally, I think the press (and therefore the people consuming the press) is too dumb for federalism. We are not mentally capable of making informed political decisions about accountability in a 3-tier system.

Which one? The game was rebalanced so many times it was basically several different games. If they put in a 2-2-2 mode with the weaker open-queue tanks, I'd call that close-enough to Overwatch 1. Of course, that still would mean the new expensive monetization model. Like there's one skin in the free tier of the current battle-pass, and it's for Torb.
