Boeing used to be one of those companies you felt proud to work for. Kind of like IBM back in the day. The work mattered. The employees mattered. Boeing is a classic example of Capitalistic Enshitifcation. The amount of cost cutting and lack of oversight has gotten us to this point. Planes literally flying apart, in 2024, for no other reason than brazen irresponsibility and greed.

I was a bit confused by this as well. How can the court overrule a law that prevents the court from overturning laws? It appears the court has given a huge middle finger to this law and is basically saying, “fight me”.

Netanyahu’s government could decide to ignore Monday’s ruling, setting the stage for a constitutional showdown over which branch of government has ultimate authority.

ah sell bat'leth and bat'leth accessories

Aka your classic enshitification model.

Standard Republican operating procedure. No one should be surprised by this.

Rambutans. They look like fluffy sea urchins but you crack that shell open and it’s soooo good. Much like leches.

Funny you should mention that. I wanted to snap this photo quickly because there most definitely would have been a bright parking lot light in that photo. For some reason it was late to turn on. Glad I caught the shot when I did.

I must know what sites they are warning us about so that I know to avoid them!

Why even lab grown? Because people will not give up meat. Humans want fat and muscle protein without the cruelty and waste.
I’m all for vegan options as well. I love me a well made vegan burger.

I can understand why you’re getting downvoted. People don’t want to stop eating animals. I know I don’t. But we really should. You’re right, it’s horrible for the planet. I for one am looking forward to the lab grown meat future.

It would be nice to get out under the thumb of behemoths like Northrup and Lockheed. Motherfuckers build $1 proprietary bolts and charges the government $700 for that bolt. It’s fucking gross and it’s even grosser that it’s still going on. We need startups and new innovations to break to spending cycle STAT

here’s an interesting piece 60 minutes did on the subject https://www.cbsnews.com/news/pentagon-budget-price-gouging-military-contractors-60-minutes-2023-05-21/
