Straight horizontal max speed flight for the falcon is 110-130 km/h though, so still very fast even when not falling.

A little bit of searching and I found this...Spotify Premium reserves the right to insert ads on exclusive podcasts, and ones that they produce/own. Ads will never be inserted into music streaming.

My best guess would be that since they allow ads for podcasts, they are throwing in Spotify pushed ads on podcasts they own. Do you happen to know if it's specific podcasts? I would probably unsubcribe if I was randomly getting ads. The only other thing I found was people still getting ads when they were using air play, but that was a desync bug.

Not sure where you got that people were threatened by your comment. If it has to do with your score, it's because it's a very narrow view, context had nothing to do with it. You shared your opinion I shared mine. Saying people feel threatened or that we didn't understand the context because we didnt agree is exactly the point I'm making when it feels like you are a young person trying to pass for an older one.

Policy updated yesterday where you can't opt out of data farming. They are openly stating that they are selling targeted data about every link you click on, sub you subscribe to, anything you up and down vote. Not that I don't think they weren't doing this in some fashion already, but the option isn't even there anymore. They aren't trying to hide it and are basically gaslighting people and trying to tell them it's actually a good thing you can't opt out.

Then there's me, someone who went back and re-read it and saw no typos and then had to go back again stopping on each word to see which one had the typo.

Check out Pop goes X. There's a bunch of different ones, punk, rock, etc. Wouldn't be surprised if there was a metal or some varient already. It's an album of bands from X category doing covers of pop songs.

I tried to keep some things vague so people could have fun with rules like hat immortality. I wonder if boredom is too strict. I guess we'll see.

Doom scrolling wasn't there in the early days of reddit. Lemmy is still new. I think people just had high hopes and expectations that lemmy would be a 1 to 1 replacement for reddit, but that was never going to happen. Reddit has had years to grow and optimize while lemmy is just a fledgling with a niche user base.

Also I think lemmy is missing that hook or gimmick to get, for lack of better words, the attention seekers here that will make posts and content just for upvotes or to show up on everyone's front page. Not saying lemmy needs to be reddit, but I do think it needs a little extra something than just being a decentralized reddit alternative.
