Falling backwards into a soft snowbank in full winter gear and basically falling asleep while snowflakes drift down, melting on my face but otherwise slowly covering the rest of me. Absolute perfection.

Thanks op, it's nice to think about this stuff

Production of the Corolla Fielder, Corolla Axio and Yaris Cross, all small models for the Japanese market, has been suspended since June 3. It is scheduled to resume in September once the transport ministry confirms they comply with standards.

Nice, at least there is some opportunity cost since the last time.

But no mention of a fine of any size. The listed models have no safety issues according to the investigations that took place - by the company making and selling the product.

What the actual fuck.

The world's largest carmaker has apologised for providing incorrect or manipulated data for safety certification tests. The scandal has shaken the Japanese car industry, with rivals Honda, Mazda and Suzuki also admitting to submitting faulty data. Toyota sold more than 11 million passenger vehicles in 2023. It has said the findings do not affect the safety of vehicles already on the road.

Yea let's just take them at their word for the safety of current vehicles. What a fucking joke.

Officially, the military does not recruit anyone under age 17. In this case, “recruit” means the formal process of signing a legally binding agreement to enlist. The military does, however, advertise to and interact directly with minors for the purposes of military recruitment.

Grooming. Non-sexual grooming. Just wonderful.

The gameplay they showed near the start of Tennocon looked really intriguing game world wise. DE is fantastic at world building so it should be a treat!

And it'll be free to play so nothing to lose trying it once it's out

"[Teamsters] said in the past that if there is a strike it will be the fault of the company for not stepping up and agreeing to the economic package being sought by the union despite having its earnings nearly double during the life of the current five-year contract."

I don't know what they're going for in the contract but at the bare minimum the employees doing the actual work need to see more money for that work. Best of luck Teamsters!
