Don't know about saving documents but Bitwarden should be good if you want convenient. If you're okay with a little bit of setup, KeePassXC + compatible mobile app, KeePassDX for me, of your choice synced through a cloud service like Nextcloud works great for me.

Have you checked that you're browsing from your instance? Liftoff has different feeds for different instances and if you go to a post through an instance you don't have an account on, you won't be able to vote.

Just go to the homepage and select the feed from the drop-down at the top on an instance you have an account in. I used to face the same problem until I realised what's going wrong.

Would it be feasible to change it to a pull system at this point? I don't think the Lemmy part of that is a problem, but ActivityPub may need to make big changes and I'm not sure how practical that is.

It's the Enhanced Tracking Protection that is blocking access to the endpoint!
