Most people in voluntary isolation (with sensory deprivation too!) will quit after a couple of days. I don't know what $20 a day amounts to in today's money, but it ain't a million.

A million dollars is only about 15 years of wages for me, and I'd still do it (assuming competence on part of the people making the offer).

Notice how the cops try to get him to accept a search of his car? That's them hoping they can find something to destroy this man's life. They have absolutely zero reason for the search. Killing is wrong in general, but can be justified by circumstances.

It is never neutral. Only ever unacceptable or justified.

E.g. killing billions by making the world uninhabitable is unacceptable, whereas smashing an oil execs face in with a baseball bat is obviously justified.
