IN THE LAST YEAR I HAVE RECEIVED A LOT OF UPSET EMAILS ABOUT THIS COMIC. I HAVE BEEN VERY CONFLICTED ABOUT WHAT TO DO WITH IT. THE COMIC WAS MADE DURING A TIME WHEN I MYSELF WAS DEALING WITH MY OWN ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, AND TRAUMA FROM PAST ABUSE. HUMOUR AND CYNICISM BEING ONE OF THE ONLY STRATEGIES I KNEW HOW TO DEAL WITH SUCH THINGS. MANY OF THESE OLDER COMICS YOU WILL NOTICE HAVE A DARKER AND MEANER EDGE.

TIME HAS CHANGED THE COMIC AND ME. I'M STILL IMPERFECT AND I MAKE MISTAKES, BUT I AM WAY MORE EMPATHETIC AND KIND THAN I USED TO BE AND THAT IS REFLECTIVE IN THE COMIC NOW. THIS COMIC WHEN PLACED AGAINST MY CURRENT WORK IS VERY SHOCKING AND HURTFUL TO A LOT OF YOU AND I AM SORRY FOR THE PAIN THAT IT CAUSES. So here's my take: This comic is almost ten years old. The artist has already realized it was a mistake and apologized for it. Maybe OP wasn't aware, as I was not, but now we both are, so let's not stir shit any further.
