Imo it's just that SkillUp is a good reviewer and many others are not.

When BF2042 was released many big papers said it was super good when it was utter garbage.

Either go the metacritic way and average things out or stick to a few reviewers you know share your taste.

I have played Deadlock 65 hours in two weeks so yeah this will be an amazing game no doubt about it.

The latest patch already attempts to fix some of the behavior problems like leaving.

All I see is a game still in very active development but listening to the community to fix stuff.

We were frustrated by Seven and Talon but last patch nerfed them.

Really confident for the success of this game.

I just think it won't be a game for everyone. MOBA are hard, deadlock is definitely very hard to master and has a pretty steep learning curve. With just 21 heroes it's already very deep on what you can do as a team.

Amazing game. Frustratingly hard but amazing.

The problem was solved by Nvidia, then AMD made it cheap and accessible and not requiring a dedicated hardware module.

For years and years Nvidia increased artificially by up to 150 euros many Gsync screens and for no legitimate reason. Initially there was NO compatibility with free sync at all.

Nvidia wasn't kindly solving a gamers problem at least to after the first year of release of that tech. They were forcibly selling expensive hardware modules nobody needed or wanted. And long after freesync showed you could do it just as well without this expensive requirements.

This hardware module they insisted on selling wasn't solving a technical problem but a money one.

I don't even think anyone was ever able to differentiate between the different qualities of "sync techs".

Would you rather travel riding Mitch or a Boeing plane ?

I would pick Mitch any day.

They did so with temporary weights or other methods like cables to make sure it didn't get worse or collapse.

It's not a very long video :/ it's mentioned in there.

It's up to them to moderate the content generated by their app.

And yes it's almost impossible to have a completely safe AI so that will be an issue for all generative AIs like that. It's still their implementation and content generated by their code.

Also I highly doubt they had a specific code to prevent that kind of depiction of Palestinian kids.

Even if they did, someone will come up with an injection prompt that overrides the code in question and the AI will again display biased or racist stuff.

An AI generating racist stuff is absolutely not more acceptable because it got inspired by real racist people...

My only concern with DDG is that they are US based and as far as I know they can be submitted to a gag order and forced to silently give private data to some agencies.

After the Snowden leaks this doesn't inspire much confidence in their ability to protect the privacy of their users.

I think they simply can't guarantee any privacy even if they have good intentions.
