There is a difference. Not sure how they ar made, but the chemical composition and possibly the design is different.

Trying to recharge a non rechargeable battery can risky and there is the possibility of leaking or explosion.

Well fedora isn't really a beginner friendly distro. The community is much smaller, and there is a lot more outdated or bad advice circulating when searching an issue.

When I installed fedora on my laptop some months ago, I wanted to switch the ffmpeg install and get codecs installed. Even fedora's documentation was outdated.

Only by searching and digging in some websites I found a command I had to do to make it world, in order to switch the ffmpeg version away from the open fedora version...

It can do that yes, but Liftoff is so much better on that point. It can show and switch the account used to view a post effortlessly.

On Liftoff, I can search a post with a lemmy.world, then switch to my account to up vote it or whatever.

An adblock dns, something like nextdns, or others won't do anything to harm you Internet speed. They are just resolving a dns query, and saying nothing or no to a blocked query.

It can catch what cannot be blocked by an adblockers on the device, because outside of the website or something.

I don't know about pihole tho.

It works on the website. But some (or many) apps don't seem to use the tag.

And it's expected as you still had that device. And it's not the same key, a new key has been created for that new device. Now if that device cannot be accessed?

[-] Tibert@jlai.lu 4 points 1 year ago

Nothing of that?

You don't need to export or know what is the key.

The key is different for each device.

Yes and no.

Fsr frame gen was just released. Dlss frame gen wasn't perfect either at release (even now it still has ui issues).

Fsr frame gen for me looks pretty impressive for a rushed release. I'll need to see how it evolves and if amd can solve the antilag+ latency with frame gen and enhance smoothness.

I also want to see how amd can enhance fsr upscaling image quality, as currently the worse image quality compared to dlss frame gen is because of fsr beeing less good than dlss upscaling.

Here is the hardware unboxed analysis of fsr 3 : https://youtu.be/jnUCYHvorrk?si=RXUZMBJXLelM-h2O

For consoles, well it's another reason for devs to create unoptimised games, while giving the 60 fps console players could "finally" experience, and want with the curent gen.

However on another side it's also a way to get better smoothness (well see), at at negligible (for console players) image quality loss. Most console players play on a TV, pretty far from it. So quality won't affect them much.

Most of the time, the cache is limited in space. Unless you need the 1-1.5gB of space, it won't affect much.

I'm not that sure about 16gb for gaming nowadays. Games are starting to explode in ram and vram usage. With windows on the side and plenty of other apps in the background, I was pretty close to the limit while running a vm with 16gb of memory on a 32gb ram setup, while running warframe (The game was using 5-5.5gb of memory).

Tho running Linux, can reduce that memory usage.

For me it's not the short video format only.

Each time I installed TikTok (for whatever reason or event on a specific channel), I was met with a cringefest on the home screen. So bad I didn't even want to look further.

Also the app is a privacy nightmare and most like still is a phone spy, taking whatever is in the accessible phone memory and sending it.

Also due to the platform design, fake information looking as "real" and sensational is more pushed. So how would someone know it's fake, I don't know. Just reputable channels coming from. YouTube or whatever would be good enough.
