I see some of that rhetoric and I think it's mostly the younger folks. The virility of youth combined with the challenges they are faced with leave everyone more on edge. There are other factors of course, lack of wisdom, Internet anonymity, etc

I don't think violence is a useful tool when fighting against hate groups. It's what they want. Then they have a claim that they are oppressed. You let them make the first move.

That being said, I'm ready to fight back against them at a moment's notice and will use all means. I see the luxuries most of us enjoy (food, electricity, clean water) and hope it never comes to that for all our sake. Our just-in-time economy depends on stability and COVID showed us how easily it can all get fucked up. Out of control violence is one of those ways.

See? AI creates jobs! Granted, it's specialized mop up situations, but jobs!

It'll be even more interesting in the future! Every now and then a T1000 will lose all hydraulic fluids right out it's prosthetic anus and they'll need someone there with a mop and bucket! Our economy lives on...

Huh. I guess it wasn't a documentary or a reputable source that I heard that from. Apparently it never happened and it was of those things I learned which never got properly debunked. It was a long time ago and there was a LOT of misinformation during and right after about 9/11.

I'm glad she's standing up against hate. She has more to lose than most of us but still stood up.

That being said, she was 66 in that picture and that freaks me out a little. I remember watching reruns of her on TV back in the 80's. At the rate I'm going, I'll be looking like the sorting hat from Harry Potter by that age.

Man, I want to learn how to make cars like that with a welding torch and a good set of tools.

And as we saw in documentaries, the only plane that flew over US skies after 9/11 was one to get the Saudi families out. What will this new evidence do? The same thing it has done for the last 17 years: nothing.

So inventive these guys. If only we could harness that ingenuity for the common good instead, it would have a huge impact.

Oh man, I was thinking this was some historical piece on a cult I hadn't heard of, but this is happening right now! It's very sad that people can be so far gone and commit horrendous deeds.
