Be ready to talk about anything mentioned in your CV.

HR may-want to evaluate whether you're fluent in English by having some small talk about your hobbies, a hiring manager may also be passionate about basket-ball and looking for a new member in the corporate team. Also, in some case, hobbies may even make some link with the position you look for, let's say that you're responsiblity involve giving training, an amateur acting experience shows you won't be afraid talking in front of 20 persons

Most important rule of GM-ing, do not over-prepare details, keep a vague outline and let the player figure out the details.

At best, the PC will just find another solution that the one you ignore (why fight the guard when you can bribe/blackmail them) or even they'll ignore huge part of your scenario.

How does it work? Do you have written briefing for every NPC? What about PC having secrets and agenda? I used NPC for guest players (You have to escorts an annoying merchant/prince•ss but they'llbe played by Billy•ie)

As often in RPG, Which game do you play, what did you agree in session zero regarding the level of secrecy and the level of PvP. The answer is very different in a Vampire the Mascarade with an agreement on lethal PvP than on D&D full cooperative game

is there anything interesting happening while the party is split ? A shopping trip, especially for common items and with no pressure can be managed by the player without any GM intervention. On the other hand, having a PC telling the Prince about another PC behaviour requires some privacy.

Here are some stuff I use, depending on the game/context

  • Small paper notes given directly to a PC (or given to the GM when being a PC) pretty great, especially when when PC have their SAN drifting low and you want to give different informations to everyone

  • Limit the one by one time, like once, 10 minutes per session because if each players takes 30 minutes alone, sometimes twice, you end-up having PC playing 2 hours over a 6h sesssion, it sucks for everyone.

  • Same technique as before, but keep everyone at the table, so players are aware of what's happening it also help saving time, in narrating what happened.

Then for the non active player, I tend to the rule-book on the PC side of the table, so they can use this time to review their abilities no matter whether we talk about PBTA like moves, D&D like spells or Cyberpunk-like gear. It's also the moment where they can take a small break to grab a coffee/snack or go to the restroom

For this one I used getimg AI improved prompt to turn A kid in facing a sci-fi control panel, presses a red-button, on the background there is a gigantic explosion Into digital painting of a diverse, barefoot toddler in a striped pajama pressing a glowing red button on a hexagonal control panel; behind them, a blinding white and orange explosion ripples with surreal geometric flames à la dalí, casting sharp shadows on the panel’s glossy metallic surface. holographic displays flicker, showing crackling energy fields. 8k realism, cinematic lighting.

And then gave it to eat to Bing

  • Already has a BF,

  • Doesn't want to initiate

  • Doesn't call

  • Doesn't hang-out

It's not your boyfriend, it's at best a crush you had a one night stand with him

In many places, passing the test on an automatic would give you a licence restricted to automatic only (and the need for some more hours to learn how to drive a manual). While it's not that easy to switch from manual to automatic, it's definitely easier, so get a licence on a regular car first and if you have the opportunity to drive an automatic you'll find out by yourself in a couple of hours how it works

You don't even need to have someone else running their character. Just say that the character is busy/drunk/sick whatever match their role-play. Or simply have an agreement with the PC that despite being unrealistic for the sake of the game, nobody will wonder why a character can be absent in the middle of space or a dungeon without any justification.

I understand that in game with a big focus on party balance/tactic it may-be different but this kind of the game is the exception not hte norm
