It's very tragic that Ukraine's defeat has been clearly inevitable for a year now, but all this bloodshed was necessary before the west would begin to consider peace terms.

Where does the idea that Russia would leave captured territory in exchange for Ukrainian neutrality come from?

no this is my opinion personally, it's still too early to say what the medium or long-term implications of this strike would be

I think it is guaranteed Israel will attack Iran after this. It's the crux of their strategic doctrine to attack at each provocation and then some, as escalation dominance is the way that they can frighten others in the region into not attacking Israel. The question is when their attack will be, how strong it will be, and what Iran's response to that response will be.

I think the existing reasons are still satisfactory, both projection about spyware and general concern about market dominance

US provincial governor of Kentucky signs an executive order banning conversion therapy for children. He cites his religion for the policy, saying that all children originate from the divine, and that the brutal practice hurts children and thus goes against his religion.

We can unfortunately assume this will only be a temporary victory as Kentucky is a huge red state and his election as a democrat was a fluke due to strong mobilization from labor unions against the previous governor in the 2019 election. Crossing my fingers that this might hurt the organisation of the christofascists enough to slow them down a bit but I'm not holding my breath.
