This is a really neat video idea, actually, and it's throwing me for a loop that a time period I remember very well (post new vegas release, grabbing all the early mods) is now presented as sort of a lost history with enough content someone can produce a video on it.
I have arrived, comrades!
I've heard that, too. Seen some screenshots. Not too happy. But I've resolved to actually watch it myself so I'm not mislead in any way. If its as lore breaking as it sounds I have no idea why they would write around the one part of the universe that lore nerds are obsessed with.
Damn I would be seething if I was those porch pirates. Then again this type of crime is minimal risk so it's probably not as hilarious as it seems.
character creator, shove a RobCo Reflectron in the newborns face so they can generate their preferred potato look
Hook my number up and I'll be the voice assistant. I promise I'll be extremely private and secure.
In all seriousness just posting to boost, good luck on this project. It seems really promising and wish I could contribute.
Climate optimism is just cope of the highest order. Some people will repeat the idea that 'we need significant, global mobilization comparable to a world war to minimize climate change' and then also assure you that these 'little wins' should instill optimism in you. Current power structures will never sufficiently reduce man's impact on the climate.
These are just my thoughts off the headline, I haven't finished reading the article yet, but damn does the double think piss me off.
that amount of money is simply not able to be accrued quickly, ethically, legally, and safely. a loan is the only thing that comes to my mind other than crime time. you could try visiting mutual aid communities and crowdfunding. you'll get something from your comrades, at least, but probably not 24k
NATO is a purely defensive alliance, not a battering ram.
You can definitely see how this isn't true, right? It'd be incredibly problematic to be opposed by NATO and to have NATO creep up to your borders. Superpowers flipped their shit over stuff like this in the cold war all the time. It's not any different today.
a year and a bit spent on the steam deck makes me wonder if daily driving linux would be all that hard. i've tried before but was always bounced off by the stupidest little things, like not being able to find wi-fi drivers or whatever. but nowadays i'm starting to think all that is worth it to be off windows
Seconding Kagi. The pricing model is a little rough, but if you're serious about getting the most out of a search engine, Kagi is the way to go.
Imo, paying is worth it to be completely free of Google's services.
If you join an official public server, there's an extremely high chance you'll join with cheater bots that spawn endless, aimbotting snipers. It's less of a problem on community servers as they're actively moderated by players, but official servers have to rely on vote kicking a fresh cheater bot every few minutes.
This is all done by some script kiddy group who apparently want to highlight Valve's deprecated support. Basically ruin the game until Valve fixes the game. There's also some measure of farming ingame item drops to sell for money, I think.
