Found this applies nicely to my career. Routineish work? Drag my feet and fight myself to do anything. Fixing problems (bigger the better)? Everybody stand back, I got it.

Whole damn system failed due to a database failure that propagated to our secondary host too. Hacked our backup to usable in a day (meeting most requirements, including transition requirements) with a path forward for total system recovery on the main system.

Documentation on any of that though, that was a .. struggle.

They need someone who hasn't already formed an opinion about the case, basically every time some high profile crime makes the national news this issue happens, especially those with a strong public response.

You keep doing that to older DnD players too, except you drop hints that the enemies are in a cult that has been giving them power and when the wizard does fireball them, the wizard gets hit by a dozen hellish rebukes from all the young warlocks they just hit.

I think its more the first line of defense, they are not there to kill, they are there to basically state I don't want you here without provoking a lethal response from whoever is encroaching on them. It causes a lot less death of their males since they are known that they are not a threat, reducing the overall attrition of them over time and making life easier on the hive. The females with the stingers come out if something is a real threat, ie something messes with the hive or queen.

Honestly, kinda reminds me of British (and other non-militarized) police. Don't send guns to every problem as most can be solved without it and some are made worse by their presence.

Just checked the app on my phone, 0 bites used, I don't really think they get any live data from it.

First you would need to sell Americans on public transportation in general, which is a far bigger issue

I've played 2 campaigns that went from 1 to 20, both became a chore late game just trying to keep track of all the items and threads. IMO, a game should stay bound to 2 tiers at most (the tiers being 1-4, 5-10, 11-16, and 17-20), going from peasant to world ender is just too much baggage. Maybe 3 tiers if you do want a complex and difficult to manage, but still possible to manage end game.

Extra credit here being that you are a shit load more likely to actually complete the story you want to tell

Even for games only released for Windows, with proton most of them work, its games with hardware tied intrusive DRM that are most of the ones that have any issue, and honestly, I have no issue boycotting that shit

IRL letal damage is rarely immediately lethal, which is a fact not translated well into the game. The fact he went to the ER is a good sign that it very easily could have lead to death for someone without medical aid.

Also by biting the arm instead of say, the neck, is pretty clear it was a declared non-lethal attack

"Oathbreakers" are evil, by definition, "oathbreakers" are not. A oath of conquest paladin that broke their oath for good reasons, would be more suited for a oath of redemption.
