Many people have had easy success with Firefox by spoofing a “Chrome on Windows” user agent; you can use an extension like this one to do so.

I’ve been using this on my iPhone for a bit (it’s free)

I really like being able to completely customize the address bar and items on it, as well as the main menu items, and the URL menu/contextual menu (the thing that appears when you hold down on a link)

there’s an iPad version available too via TestFlight

Like Reddit, lemmy is based around communities and hierarchical comments (plus downvoting).

Mastodon, like Twitter, is a single timeline from people you follow (and sometimes people they follow and repost), as well as hashtag searching etc. It has no downvote option, but thanks to ActivityPub you can post to lemmy from mastodon and liking something is equivalent to an upvote.

He’s not passing them off as official repairs (although he does use genuine parts whenever those parts are still in circulation).

Are you saying repair videos should blur the parts of the device’s enclosure where the logo appears? This seems excessive

Wilmer Becerra of Wiltech, in Colombia, has more than 6 million Facebook followers and over 5 million TikTok followers

edit: since many seem to be confused: he doesn’t use the Apple logo anywhere on his website (you can check above) or in his videos — Apple is upset because the iPhones shown in his videos have the Apple logo on the back of the device which can be seen in the video while he’s repairing it.

In the letter from Apple’s law firm, they have specifically asked him to stop repairing Apple devices.
