last year i was talking to my cousin and they told a story about their great uncle who was about 7 years old in 1920 for the election and his dad took him down to the polling station to see the results. this was back in the day, you understand, and you'd have to go look at a chalkboard to see the tally. anyway my great uncle twice removed or whatever he is, he looked at the tally and then looked down at the kid and said, "they didn't count my vote."

"how do you know, dad?"

"because it says there's 0 votes for eugene debs!"

in the republic of badcountry, state security forces arrested more than 2000 people protesting against the regime's material support for the ongoing genocide.

i want to see a video of the crackdowns spliced together with like a low angle shot of a huge tv screen displaying a close up of biden's face while he says "order must prevail"

brandon order must prevail! dissent must never lead to disorder! please return to your designated protest safety zone for your own protection. order must prevail!

Xi (Foolishly) Plans Communist Answers For China’s Property Crisis. Forbes

If the leaks and rumors are true, Beijing stands ready to launch a new and radical solution to the economy’s property crisis – a government takeover. What the authorities refer to as “a new model” would replace the old emphasis on ownership with more rentals and use government funds to buy up bankrupt properties so that in time the government’s role in real estate would rise from 5% of the market at present to 30%. Such an act would surely take the nation back to its communist roots if not quite the days of Mao Zedong. If it would veil the property crisis for a time, it would in the long run do tremendous damage to China’s economic prospects.

people keep calling me alarmist for suggesting that world war 3 has already started. "but context," they say, "countries don't declare wars anymore, so it can't be world war 3. it's merely an expanding series of interrelated special military operations with a global scope."

or "fam, this is an arby's," they say.

trust me, the thing israel is currently demonstrating it's fully capable of doing because it's currently doing it, if it wanted to do that, it could.
