There is no such thing as objective morality. Being moral is a matter of will and character—consciously choosing what kind of person you want to be. I want to be the kind of person that brings pleasure into the world, and so I am a utilitarian.
Edit: And I'm not saying that I am fulfilling that adequately at all. Any coherent moral stance usually has implications which are "undesirable". If I were truly utilitarian, I should probably be donating money to the global south, and so should anyone else who claims to be moral.
The difference is that when you're physically sick, there usually isn't much you can do to help yourself, but there's a lot you can do about many mental illnesses. I'm not saying it's easy or that mentally ill people don't need support and care, but these are not comparable.
Omg that thing looks gorgeous, it's a shame the company is owned by bezos
I guess I'm not very original, but Meshuggah just beats everything else for me lately, Future Breed Machine or pretty much the entirety of ObZen (though Bleed is overrated and possibly the worst song on the album apart from Pravus), I think it's something about how the vocals interact with the riffing, though I'm not sure this is exactly the kind of heaviness you mean...
Otherwise maybe check out Flood by Boris, that has some massive riffs (Flood III is where the shit goes down if you don't feel like listening to the whole thing)
The way the movement is captured is incredible
Work on your own projects and it will come naturally, it's the best way to thoroughly learn a language (probably JS in your case). Try to really understand the basics (like OOP), it's knowledge which will both translate to other languages and help you learn frameworks/libraries. Instead of relying solely on tutorials, try reading the documentation, it will give you a more thorough understanding (if it's good), also stack overflow isn't cheating, you can't always remember everything. Trust me, you are already way ahead of others if you plan to take CS.
Where can I find more chinese memes lol, this shit is hilarious and it seems like a good way to start learning chinese
That's how it's done in chinese. Imo DD/MM/YYYY is better though, since in practice the year is most commonly just the current year and isn't nearly as important as the day or month.
This post reminded me of a dream I had today.
I was hiking up a hill through a forest and saw a snake by the side of the path. I stopped to look at it. It was completely black with a strange white dotted pattern on its back, unlike any snake where I live. Then I heard something moving a little uphill, I turned to look, and it was another snake, and next to it another. I looked around and the ground was writhing with snakes. I started running away into the forest, but it was getting darker and darker. Then I heard an ominous whirring sound getting progressively louder. I woke up and it was the washing machine.
Convergent would be two people coincidentally making the same meme
