I am sorry, if my words somehow offended you. I never intended them to be interpreted in such a way, nor am I limiting my compassion by skin color or species.

Sorry, but the news text read as if this was retaliation for acts which happened a day before. You are telling me instead, they were attacked while chanting and ripping flags, which would make this a different story but still an act of violence.

Edit: could we just stop this whole bullshit and act decent to other sentient beings?

Fascinating, is this a rural area? How far away is your usual destination for groceries? Can you buy groceries, when you are unable to operate a vehicle?

5 miles is within cycling range for me, but it is somewhat longer than my way to work.

Org-mode is splendid and i use it almost every day, but i think what op is asking for is something different. If i want to write something like this:

s̵t̵r̵o̵k̵e̵

i would use +stroke+ in Org-mode. If i then set org-hide-emphasis-markers to t, the + signs are hidden, but they are still there. If i save the file, and open it in another program, it is still +stroke+, instead of the unicode variant. The feature asked for was intended for the following use-case:

It would make reading plain text notes/todo lists cross-device simpler.

Which Org-mode would fail to deliver on.
