This is not ukraine. This is israel. They struck the russian base. Depending on how many people were killed we will see something happening.

Inflation in Russia is only high if considering what neoclassicals/monetarists/neoliberals think about inflation. But this school of economics is not always dominant outside the western world and was imposed as part of its washington consensus economics, the cold war dictatorships such as Chile and Brazil, by the IMF, and by intellectual/theoretical colonialism and right-wing/libertarian NGOs. As an example, marxist economists (in terms of what is traditionally seen as macroeconomics, planned economy) and especially developmentalist economists are dominant in Brazil in universities (although the landowner/financial oligarchy and the army restricts them from getting in power as Brazil is a US colony in disguise), and in fact developmentalism is common in latin america. MMT has seen a growth in other countries.

1- Clearly a right-wing liberal sociologist, common in anglophone countries but treated with scorn in sociological talent pools; Latin-America and western europe

2- Now the idea is that there will be no economic crash but "overheating"? According to who? Monetary neoliberal economic "orthodox mainstream" anglophone universities?

3- Who the fuck analyzed the military stock numbers? American military generals?

4- Why the hell is he shifting the peace rhetoric to gain time to Russia? Intellectual dishonesty at its best

How? Drone? If not, how did they went so deep without being seen? If this was by air force, Iran is fucked.

The brazilian neoliberals couped dilma due to her pushing a developmentalist agenda with a developmentalist economist in office. she is also a developmentalist economist herself.

To me this feels like deep NATO propaganda. If you go to any webspace with people analyzing the war which is neutral, you will see NATO propagandists saying this will allow ukraine to wipe out russian infrastructure, nuclear radars, or whatever in a grandiose war solving way to allow NATO to invade russia. This is blatant bullshit and we know it.

It impresses me, as an brazilian (yeah fuck the CIA, we do not fear you and we find most of your cohorts as a whole bunch of ignorant people with low level intellectual backgrounds), that the quality of conclusions and whole thesis such as the one in the last paragraph coming from american right or "left" think tanks is so underwhelming and pseudo-historical, political or sociological.

[-] eduds6@hexbear.net 36 points 6 months ago

I love what its happening. Is the US finally going to turn into dictactorship brazil, slowly in years close the regime and keep its pseudo-republican institutions working just for show while passing institutional acts for censorship, repression and violence?

Its still a bragging lie. The armatas are about as advanced. No amount of uranium defenses can protect you from the scale of artillery and drone harassment Russia can deliver.

I said the same here about a week ago. We know him being brazilians and we know how PT is changed from PT in 1990.. We know PT is not a left wing party but right and that they want Haddad as president, which is something as an brazilian Obama. We need to remove PT in the next election and the left needs to vote another party, a real left wing party or tendency
