Genius top Twitter reply. Just blow up the transmitter saying the Strait is closed and it will be open

If they're admitting to 50% still being operational I wonder how much higher the real number is

Seems like their self congratulatory press from a few days ago about how amazing they are for keeping Ben Gurion operating didn't age well. Hope the whole place is leveled, they're using it as a military asset anyways

It is not clear how simply moving production of routers domestically would make them safer. In the Volt Typhoon hack, Chinese state-sponsored hackers primarily targeted Cisco and Netgear routers, routers designed by US companies, according to the Department of Justice. Those US companies had stopped providing security updates to the specific targeted routers, because they had discontinued those products.

Can't wait to buy my new Cisco/Palantir router! Now made in America with a whooping 7.5 months of security updates from launch before it's sunsetted and you need to buy a new one

The power to destroy a thing is the absolute control over it

Hi, personnel expert here! this is not funny, NATO personnel only do this when they're in extreme distress.

Honestly I think he wanted to just rack up some easy wins. The Maduro abduction went so well that he thought he could do a quick overnight surprise attack and by the following week there'd be a compliant group leading Iran. The media would sing his praises about toppling a dictator and then he'd forget about it, maybe move on to Cuba.

Now he's floundering and just looking for anyway to bail out and let the oil flow without it looking like a loss

the fire may have been deliberately set by crew members seeking to end the prolonged deployment.

Damn on one hand I can't blame them for being upset that their basic needs aren't being met but on the other this would be such an undignified end to the project and obviously things wouldn't get better. It's just such a sad situation. The US would probably go full France on Haiti on them and saddle them with 2 centuries worth of debt for daring to rise up against them

The simple rules for life everyone should live by

  • Treaties are fake. NO ONE is maintaining your territorial integrity for you.
  • Never, ever, give up your nukes. If you don't have any, BUILD THEM. If you absolutely have to get rid of them, always keep ONE hid in reserve.
  • If someone accuses you of having nukes drop everything and get them immediately (this one is paraphrased/potentially misremembered)
