ain't no DM takin dis Hail Mary from a player seriously
I absolutely would, my players would need to be creative to allow this dust pile to communicate and do anything, but I'm quite sure they could manage

Yes, after the rep had personally been trying to play dumb for almost 30 minutes. As a CSR myself I know it shouldn't take 30 minutes to explain your delivery person THREW MY PACKAGE OVER MY 8 FOOT FENCE FEDEX I FUCKING SAW THEM DO IT. THE PACKAGE SAID FRAGILE ON IT YOU STUPID CUNTS WHY IS THIS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND I HAVE SECURITY FOOTAGE
I kinda blacked out because I absolutely loathe being unkind to customer-facing workers but dear Christ this was a $300 object and I could hear the smugness as the guy played up his Indian accent (suddenly much more understandable after I snapped) while saying "I'm sorry sir I don't see what the problem is they delivered your package????"
Fuck that guy, he deserves nasty customers every call
Rarely, but:
if whatever needs to be done actually requires the manager (refunds or such)
if the person you've been trying to resolve the issue with is being obstinate, dismissive, or rude
if something actually illegal is occuring (i did this once when I noticed that a gas station was charging more than their listed price on the sign, guy immediately fixed it and comped me my fill cuz that's super illegal)
if workers are jeopardizing safety of other people. Don't tell the worker to stop, get a manager to do it and note that they're doing something unsafe.
And, most importantly:
I think they're trying to kill the fitbit line and replace it with the pixel watch and WearOS
My reasoning:
Enshittification of the non-watch devices
Pixel Watch 2 actually being an improvement on 1, they don't always do that
PW2 just being their highest end fitbit + watch
Many people I know who had fitbits decided to move over to a smartwatch for convenience of other features at not that much increased cost. It could be that offering devices below a watch has become less worth it in their eyes and to be something left to other niche manufacturers.
WearOS in general has seen massive improvements over AndroidWear and I think they're hoping that the license fees they'll get from third party cheaper watchmakers that end up using WearOS. Kinda like what they do with Android, offer an expensive top of the line flagship device, maybe a middle ground option, and leave it to the niche companies willing to do the work to find out what exact features people want on the cheap end while bringing in their licensing and app store fees.
It worked for phones, I can see it working for this kind of device, but it means dropping the old "lesser" line of devices
That's online at once
Roughly half of the world will be asleep at any given time, many don't game on steam alone, etc.
It's the "I'm always right" part that guarantees it
I work with a bunch of fucking idiots who regularly fuck stuff up. But I'm also a fucking idiot constantly fucking Up so I belong
I HAVE been accused of being a pervert, once, and it was fucking weird
Was at the store and some kid walked up to me thinking I was my dad (works at a local school and we look a lot alike, have the same name even)
Told the kid nah, that he had mistaken me for my dad, and then suddenly his mom appears and grabs the kid while telling me to "stay away from her kid you long haired freak"
Again, I look like my dad (he also has long hair) to the point of this kid mistaking me for him, yet I was still some random creep to this lady
People stop seeing normal human dudes in public once a kid is around and it can really suck sometimes
I'm that guy growing magic mushrooms and telling people about how awesome fungi are in general now that I know more about them
I'm doing my part!
Love this guy
His "cancel keyboard" is my personal fave (each button tweets something that'll cancel you), dudes funny as hell
No, Ticketmaster is most certainly to blame as their massive control over venues and ticket sales makes artists bend over to their demands as well
Because it's funny?
There wouldn't be an insurance company to tell you no in a single payer system
