No, that was just development on the promised No Man's Sky-style recovery they were working on.

It improved a bit, and then the studio began working on an overhaul internally to provide what the game should have been, sort of No Man's Sky style... but they were shutdown by Bioware.

There's a lot of reasons it ended up the way it did, development hell and poor management mostly. Hell, the flight mechanic, which had been added and removed several times in development, was core to the released game, and easily the best part, apparently wasn't even decided to be a necessary feature until Patrick Soderlund, former head of EA studios, was very disappointed in a demo BioWare had shown in early 2017 that the team decided to add flying back in.

One of the core pillars of the game was essentially added just to impress an executive and keep the development going versus being canceled. Flight like in the game requires the entire map and structure of the game world to be different. If you can fly,. you now need to take advantage of the vertical space, something that simply doesn't even get considered in most games. A mountain you can climb is not the same as needing to fill in an entire mountain range and canyon region with content.

The original Switch didn't confirm to USB-PD properly, I doubt the second one does.

I want to just throw my cursor into a corner without looking and click with the confidence that it will open my start menu.

So change it, that's a setting that's been there since day one on W11 to move the Start menu and taskbar stuff back to the left corner.

The start menu is a fucking mess. I really loved the Windows 10 start menu with its tiles and groups. Now you have to manually pin everything, it’s all small icons and you can’t have them in groups. You have to create sub-folders to put the icons in, adding an extra click for nothing.

The tiles were one of the biggest things people complained about on Windows 8 and 10 compared to previous versions. The Windows 11 Start Menu works more like previous versions in this regard, because that's something people were VERY vocal about wanting back.

You do know there's a reason for that voice difference in MGSV right?

To be fair most of the "bloat" is the flashy stuff that gets consumers to buy things. The extras that enterprise and some power users don't care about because they want to use their own thing instead.

A lot of that "bloat" is the easy integrated stuff the average person can set up and use themselves following a couple login and setup screens without having to think about it. Things like OneDrive for easy automated document backup, backing up device licenses to an account versus needing to keep track of a license key if they need to reinstall, integrated find my device services, etc.

All of those functions are expected in a modern OS by the average user, so they are ready to go out of the box with a little setup. It's the same way Apple handles similar services on OSX and iOS, and Google does with ChromeOS. Not every user will use those services, and there are alternatives of course. Nothing prevents you from uninstalling OneDrive, or most other pre-installed programs or components. I got rid of those immediately after installing Windows 11 because I use other services, and I haven't seen them since.

Very few people even bother to clock the link. They only ever read the headline.

It was someone that cheated in a tournament. Not a player in random match online. Although he probably tested the cheats there first.

Many of us have been comparing ICE and the SS since it's inception alongside the Department of Homeland Security post-9/11.

9/11 ended up being way more successful than Osama Bin Laden could ever have imagined. It just took an extra 25 years for the Republican party to destroy the country from within like he wanted.

You know guys, I'm starting to think what we heard about Altman when he was removed a while ago might actually have been real.

My God that headline is terrible. That's the most sane shit he said.

"When people ask me...What’s gonna happen if the Flip — Flopping, Laughing Hyena Wins?? I say...write down all the addresses of the people who had her signs in their yards! Sooo...when the Illegal human ‘Locust’ (which she supports!) Need places to live...We’ll already have the addresses of the their New families...who supported their arrival!" the post said.

He shouldn't have access to sharp objects, nonetheless a firearm, or be fucking Sheriff. He's a danger to his community.

NASA and Boeing officials pushed back Friday on headlines that the commercial Starliner crew capsule is stranded at the International Space Station but said they need more time to analyze data before formally clearing the spacecraft for undocking and reentry.

When in Summit settings, searching for "mu" causes an immediate app crash to home screen as soon as the U is typed. No option to report issues or submit feedback.

Only have this device to test at the moment, but I can get it to do it every time.
