The Canada goose, much more commonly spotted, appeared to be sick, Sequeira said, which he thinks is why the bald eagle chose it as prey.

Politics aside: I live in PEI and there is an area called Vernon River which has been iced over for the last month except at the Hwy 1 bridge. There is a large flock of Canada geese that have been hanging out in this water area for weeks.

A few weeks back I noticed goose carcasses scattered around. It was a horrorshow. There was one on the hwy. A pile down on the ice. They were everywhere. There were several eagles, a few hawks, and a couple of larger birds I assume were vultures. Looking closer many of the geese were is pretty bad form. Standing, but their heads were on the ice. Some on their sides. Some off on their own way up the river.

It turns out avian flu is taking out a huge section of this flock and the birds of prey are eating them - which will probably result in those birds getting sick. Every day I drive by and there are more dead. Sometimes you see a single goose just standing along side the highway clearly in bad health.

It's really sad.

I'm more interested in securing it for who is moving from US to Canada.

Part of the response should be to remove everything put in place to appease Trump.

Some of it, yes. But I think improved security is needed at the border now more than ever.

" And again, the Internet is not something that you just dump something on. It's not a big truck. It's a series of tubes. And if you don't understand, those tubes can be filled and if they are filled, when you put your message in, it gets in line and it's going to be delayed by anyone that puts into that tube enormous amounts of material, enormous amounts of material." - Alaskan Senator Ted Stevens

At this point we need to diversify our trading partners.

That's the funny thing. Canada is doing this.

Trump talks out of his asshole, makes threats, Canada says "k", and looks to do business elsewhere. The US is still going to buy our aluminum and oil, but our imports from the US will drop as we find other partners.

That my friends is the art of the deal.

Nope. Time for Singh to kick rocks.

If the party suffers under your leadership, you are not right for the party.

Maybe that's what the EU is waiting for? The EU loves Trudeau and he does well as a diplomat. I think it's one of his stronger points.

If Trudeau has no exit date, we'd probably be closer to getting invited in. But who knows if Canada is going to be stupid like the USA? If we end up with PP, then do we really deserve to be in the EU? Probably not at this time.

This sounds like me a few years ago.

I loved IT work when I started but the job, the positions, the customers, and my bosses sucked it out of me. I couldn't see myself staying in the job. As each day passed I got more and more depressed and miserable. The only plus side was I was earning a bit of money.

I was also at the age (late 40s) where it was probably too late to change careers. Even if I did, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do.

I decided to take a risk and open my own business - a pinball arcade. Huge risk, but if it worked it would probably be fun.

I spent 3 years collecting machines and learning how to repair them. I worked to reduce my personal overhead so I could get by earning less (which is freeing on it's own). I was still working the horrible IT jobs, but since I had a new direction it didn't seem to bother me as much. There was a light at the end of the tunnel.

3 years ago we opened the arcade and luckily it's been working out. I love coming to work now. I love 99% of my customers. Some days I spend half the day playing games with people in the arcade. I'm earning a living and our sales keep going up as we add more things to the arcade.

My only advice is to find something that will make you happy and work towards it. You don't have to stay in a job you hate.

I'm kind of ok with that.

I usually have a little milk around the house for cooking sauces and things. Something like soy or almond milk don't make good substitutes. I can't remember the last time I just drank a glass of milk.
