I heard the US and Canada haven't even had a phone call yet. This is the way. Just ignore the orange idiot.

If he throws a tariff, don't bother talking to them. Just respond with a like tariff to red states and move on with life. Talking doesn't do anything with Trump and he's a fucking liar and will go back on previous deals anyway. There is no point in a discussion.

I hope they grow Gros Michel bananas. These were the bananas that everyone ate until the crops were wiped out in the 50s by fungus. Artificial banana flavours always has more flavour and a richer taste than the common Cavendish banana. This flavour is mimicking the Gros Michel.

I've never had one, but they are still grown today but never in numbers for global export.

The Canada goose, much more commonly spotted, appeared to be sick, Sequeira said, which he thinks is why the bald eagle chose it as prey.

Politics aside: I live in PEI and there is an area called Vernon River which has been iced over for the last month except at the Hwy 1 bridge. There is a large flock of Canada geese that have been hanging out in this water area for weeks.

A few weeks back I noticed goose carcasses scattered around. It was a horrorshow. There was one on the hwy. A pile down on the ice. They were everywhere. There were several eagles, a few hawks, and a couple of larger birds I assume were vultures. Looking closer many of the geese were is pretty bad form. Standing, but their heads were on the ice. Some on their sides. Some off on their own way up the river.

It turns out avian flu is taking out a huge section of this flock and the birds of prey are eating them - which will probably result in those birds getting sick. Every day I drive by and there are more dead. Sometimes you see a single goose just standing along side the highway clearly in bad health.

It's really sad.

I guess you proved your own point.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I assume most of those rounds are going to be about the same for the meat on the receiving end. I have to look at see what rounds are allowed at my local shooting range and pick from that.

To be fair, you'll find anti-vax far left as well. Think hippies and new age types.

I would not be surprised if Stephen Miller has recommended bringing back American blackface Minstrel shows.

Those kid size cages at gitmo aren't going to use themselves.

I usually have a little milk around the house for cooking sauces and things. Something like soy or almond milk don't make good substitutes. I can't remember the last time I just drank a glass of milk.

I'm in Canada.

Since Bush W, I saw the blatant writing on the wall of the direction the US was going. Trump version 1 seemed like a clown show and I assumed things would get worse but it would take 20-30 more years. I never once thought we'd see a Trump version 2.

I think this is probably the end of the USA as we once knew it. Trump is on a speedrun to crash everything. The American people are either cheering it on or apathetic. The public won't stop him. The opposition in US government seems unable to deal with Trump because he clearly doesn't give a shit about decorum, rules, or law.

I guess we all realize empires eventually fall. The US got itself here from it's own hubris. It's time.

I do worry being right next door and both the US and Russia eyeballing our northern routes and resources. More and more I'm coming to terms with probably dying defending my country from a direct attack. Something I never really worried about until last November.

It's a scary time
