Not giving money or content to a shitty company is enough for me. Once I was here, I found out about the public modlog, the nature of the fediverse, and the love for Linux you people have. Also it feels kinda like, less karmawhoring content, because we don't have karma here. I don't know, this feels like it's shaped by communities for real.

I learned that best things come from the right balance between preparation and improvisation. And that balance is approximately 20-80 respectively, at best. I figured that as a DM, I'm also playing, so I roll with my fellow table partners, as the story is unexpected for me as is for them.

Militaries are necessary for each community self defense, because stateless society means communities, and there is nothing in that concept preventing raider communities from existing and try to live off stealing/murdering other communities. It's literally ancient history, before countries existed. What we call crime today is not always rooted on necessity, a post scarcity non authoritarian society doesn't suddenly eliminates bad people trying to take advantage of others because is easier than doing your homework. Or fascists trying to impose themselves to others. Those people, they get the bullets.

Obviously the answer to the paradox is to have semi-automatic brass knuckles invented.

In Argentina we call Hamburpizza to something that is basically a grounded meat disc, that's the diameter of a pizza, and the buns are two pizzas, usual burger fillings apply. Of course we cut it in triangles. It's not that good, but it's not the piece of crap the pic has.

Be thankful and be happy are different things. "Wow, I'm thankful I'm not that fucked up like the guy over there. I should take steps to totally get away from the path that leads to that place."

It's like looking your future self in a mirror, you still can do something to get away from that bad omen.

This post left me thinking in something. What if we could organize, so a city-owned ISP with a built-in pihole exists? What if we can just block tracking at the metropolitan level as we do in our houses? What if we don't just stop at DNS? What if we made just one city more private? What if we start with that?
