Aww, the kiwifruit cyclops is giving birth!

This image has enough sexual undertones that it probably deserves a NSFW tag.

I never thought I would say this, but poor Judas.

I second Discuit. It was started in response to the Reddit API shenanigans last June. It seems to have avoided the spam and instability that have plagued Lemmy (at least so far).

Maybe you can draw an analogy between decentralized services and decentralized government. The world has largely shifted away from monarchies and oligarchies in favor of democracies that intentionally spread power out among many people. You can argue that our economy needs to make the same shift for the same reasons. An Elon Musk or Tom Cook is analogous to an oligarch, with wealth at their disposal comparable to a nation-state.

He's got my vote!

That's a great idea! I should start celebrating my town's founding day. Looks like April 28 is going to be a party next year!

When I was in college we once threw a Martin Luther King Jr. Day Eve party. Formal attire, sparkling wine, and we had a countdown to midnight when everyone shouted, "Happy Martin Luther King Jr Day!"

Now my family sometimes celebrates half birthdays, or quarter-birthdays. We also make up birthdays for stuffed animals. Any excuse for a party.

Anti-intellectual populism is a core tenent of the Republican platform. This is exactly what they want. Florida is getting what it voted for.
